Tips on wedding ring / engagement rings welded together for compromise?

My boyfriend and I chose a group committed before wedding. We decided that the rings looked better together, so we had welded together before being hired. I know this is not tradition, but are there any rules and suggestions on how to use the ring. Wedding band to the other side? Comment? Thanks in advance.

Since you are "breaking the tradition" and may wear the wedding ring on his finger, then put it on the inside, the day of his marriage, or simply wear the traditional way all the time. I wear my engagement ring as my wedding ring too – is big enough to fit into their own and do not feel the need for additional ring – so I guess that "broke the tradition" too – and no body care and there is no difference in my marriage.
