Has anyone been to St. Lucia in September.?
I'm going there in September 7th family.Me all my and my boyfriend are getting married there. I'm really concerned about the weather when we booked the travel agent not to say the hurricane season as it is, but said that theres an average of nine inches of rain per month and we do not upset because I've heard that are quick showers, then the sun comes out again. We stayed at the Sandals Halcyon and the whole world has paid a lot of extra money 1200 each for one week only, I am more concerned about the time after the wedding! I hope to have a good answer put me at ease. Thanks Lou
Do not worry about time, according to this site wunderground.com, In the past 12 years, the time dedicated to Santa Lucia shows only a few showers. It is in the tropics the rain will pass quickly. The dates have been used September 1 through September 15. But I should mention the weather is unpredictable and be aware. Find out what the Sandals Halcyon policy in case hurricane. When we travel, especially in summer always travel insurance, not just for bad weather, but illiness. It is cheap ask your agent travel on it. Most airlines will give you 2 weeks to postpone your trip at no charge if they can not fly to your destination.
